SELECTION PROCESS

At RBS Technology Services India, we believe our most valuable assets leave the building at the end of the day. This belief means we recruit and retain people who will thrive in the RBS Technology Services India (TSI) culture and support our goals and values. To assist in finding you, we use a combination of interviews and technical assessment.

Our recruitment is not based solely on academic achievements. We are seeking to appoint candidates who satisfy a broad range of criteria in terms of their ability to make a positive and on-going contribution to the organisation.

Although the precise timeline, number of steps and evaluation process does vary somewhat across our organisation and divisions, the standard process for most positions is as follows:

Application: Select the relevant drop down and click on 'Search and Apply', located on the screen navigation menu to read about career opportunities and check for roles matching your skills. Follow the process and access our online application form. You are requested to fill in the required data and you will need to attach your resume and any other supporting information requested in the job description.

Interviews: The interview process is an opportunity for you to get to know our organisation, clarify the opportunities available and explore your technical knowledge. Interviews will take place with a representative from Group Resourcing, our businesses or a combination of both. The number and type of interviews across the Group does vary.

Assessment: Technical assessment is a normal part of the selection process at RBS TSI, providing additional objective, reliable and relevant information about the likelihood of job success and satisfaction.

Tips:

  • Bring reading glasses if required. All other materials will be provided
  • Get a good night’s sleep, wear comfortable clothing, and eat something prior to the assessment
  • Reschedule the assessment if you are unwell or facing circumstances which may adversely impact your performance as applicants have just one opportunity to complete the assessment
  • Ensure you bring a valid form of photo identification with you to the assessment (assessment can not be conducted without it)
  • Notify your RBS TSI Group Resourcing contact if you have a disability or there are other circumstances that may prevent you from obtaining the best possible outcome on the assessment so we can consider making appropriate and reasonable adjustments. RBS TSI encourages open discussion about an applicant’s disability at all stages of the recruitment and placement process and aims to give an applicant every opportunity to perform at their best.

Pre Employment Screening: This process includes reference and background verification. The information generated from the interview process and technical assessment, in combination with all of the other information gathered during the selection process, will be used to obtain a comprehensive view of the match between you and the position you have applied for.
